When I am not developing or taking care of my family I can be found reading, fencing, singing with the Heartland Men's Chorus, or playing with my cat Herby. I am fortunate to have had an upbringing where Mental Health was not only talked about but considered a priority; I find many of my co-workers say I am mature for my age and I believe this early education in emotional awareness is to thank.
Being raised by Barbara Breitling and Lyndanna Stematz -two lesbian artists, was a unique and very rewarding experience that has instilled in me many positive traits and a set of strong moral beliefs that boil down to this: We are all Human. That means we ALL deserve safe housing, healthy food, clean water, and healthcare.
